2019 Grant Vineyards Pinot Noir

Regular price $50.00 USD

Deep End Anderson Valley Pinot Noir. Our vineyards are organically farmed, in the path of cooling fog that rolls in from the Mendocino coast.

This Marine influence extends the phenolic ripening time, without pushing the sugar levels too high; it's a slower, more balanced flavor development in the berry vs. hotter climes. This results in elegant Pinot Noirs, full of beautiful blackberry and raspberry notes, floral aromatics, vibrant acidity and a myriad of etherial coastal forest flavors.

Soil type is "Bearwallow", composed of mostly Franciscan Sandstone.

South Facing Hillside, 400ft. elev.

Native yeast fermentation, de-stemmed whole berry Pinot Noir.

10 months in French oak (Ermitage and Rousseau Barrels), 30% new oak.

14.5% alc.
